Inspiration for 2022

2022 is now well underway and we are expecting it to be a bumper year! People are finally returning to the workplace, and meetings and conferences will be taking place in real life for the first time for a while.

So, we’d really like to reconnect with you and collaborate on ideas to improve and enhance your packaging, branded ring binders, conference packs, display units and anything else you might be working on.  We’re happy to visit you, but if you prefer, we can chat on Zoom or on the phone, or feel free to visit us in the factory and if you are a dog lover, you can meet our newest recruit, Lula Mae, the factory dog.

To inspire you, we’d like to share a few of our favourite products from the last couple of months and explain how these were developed from concept to reality.

Point of sale display unit for hand sanitiser

We designed this product in collaboration with a design agency who wanted a display unit for the retail of hand sanitiser. We created a cutter guide for the agency who then designed the artwork.

The unit uses corrugated board, mounted with laminated prints for the base unit and back board, and die cut white lined board for the inner tray which holds the sanitiser.  The product is super easy to assemble and was delivered flat packed to the retail outlets for them to make up. A simple, cost effective, stylish, yet practical display solution.

Gift box to promote Jabra Video Conferencing

The brief was to design a seriously stylish gift box promoting video conferencing, without breaking the bank. It needed to hold a desktop charger, travel mug, 2 sachets of hot chocolate and a pen and be robust enough to withstand the perils of our wonderful courier system without the contents getting damaged.

Matt laminated prints were mounted onto both sides of corrugated board to create the main unit. The inner tray to hold the items in place was also in corrugated board with a solid black matt laminated print mounted to one side.

A “topper” in 300gsm paper, printed and laminated both sides, covered and protected the gifts.  We die cut the different elements, made up the boxes and filled them with the contents, ready to be sent to the lucky recipients.

New home branded handover ring binder

These binders were made for a prestigious housing development of beautiful houses in Bath to hold the handover documents for the property.

We used dark grey Vivella (a very high quality leather look material) for the outside of the binder, which has a great tactile feel.  The inside of the binder is lined with a bright green premium buckram paper from Winter & Company, in the Wikotex line.

The green offsets the outer grey material superbly. “Holburne Park” has been subtly debossed on the front cover, while the HP logo was screen printed in a stunning bright green, reflecting the park setting of the development. The binder was finished with grey stitching and nickel corners.
